any time but here we share information of events and services which may be of particular
interest.

Concerts

A duet concert from Nicola Rose and Andrew Wilson-Dickson:
Mozart, Chaminade, Bizet Children's Games, WD's 'out of time' (8 minutes of madness!)
Supporting the CUC building fund.
Sunday 1st March 3pm
A Vocal St David's Day Concert from post-graduate singers of the RWCMD.
Sunday 8th March 3pm
Postgraduate students of the RWCMD present a concert of music for flute, cello and piano, centred
round Kuhlau's Trio op 119 and including music by Fauré.
Sunday 22nd March 3pm
A birthday concert for the fabulous jazz pianist Geoff Eales! Geoff teams up with friends for an
afternoon of his favourite music, jazz and classical, including his own compositions.

Saturday 7 th March 6.30pm
A Barn Dance in support of Joy of Learning from 6.30-9.30. There will be a live band with hot dogs
and ice cream in the interval. Entry is free with opportunities to buy Ugandan crafts and support the

Manon Ogwen Parry – soprano and Jeffrey Howard – piano
Welsh soprano, Manon Ogwen Parry, winner of the W. Towyn Roberts Scholarship at the 2025
National Eisteddfod joins us for the first time at Beulah URC. Currently in her final year of the Opera
Course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, Manon is increasingly in demand as a
performer across the UK. She is partnered by distinguished pianist, Jeffrey Howard, and together
they will perform a programme of songs and arias to take us towards Easter.
Wednesday March 25th at 6.30pm
Bible Study in the Whittaker Lounge. David and Martha are leading us in an exploration of
Matthew’s gospel.

Lent and Easter
Study Groups
In Lent there are a series of reflective learning groups taking place. They will be based on the book,
‘Receiving Jesus: The Way of Love,’ by Mirrian Edgar Budde, the bishop of Washington, DC. Budde
looks at what she feels are essential practices which enable us to live in love.

You are welcome to attend whichever suits your schedule each week. Martha and David will be
leading the session at City and Beulah

Sunday 29 th March (Palm Sunday):
Combined Pastorate Sunday worship service at City - 10:30am. Tea and fellowship afterwards.
Monday 30 th March, Tuesday 31 st March and Wednesday 1 st April:
Holy week prayers at Beulah each evening at 7.30pm in the Whittaker Lounge.
Maundy Thursday 2 nd April:
7.30pm communion service at Beulah in the upper room of Canolfan
7.30pm service at Canton Uniting Church
Good Friday 3rd April
10.30 service at City URC led by Martha
12.00 service at Beulah with a dramatic interpretation of the story followed by lunch
Easter Sunday 5 th April:
08.45 Early morning service in the garden at Beulah followed by Easter Breakfast
