Beulah and City URCs are part of an ecumenical group of Eco Churches in Cardiff who are sharing ideas about taking environmental action within our communities.
We would like to invite you to a joint event we're holding to mark the Climate Coalition's 'Show the Love' initiative on Saturday, 14th February from 2.00 – 5.00pm in Canolfan Beulah (posters below).
We will be focussing on the Community and Global Engagement area of the Eco Church scheme and we're inviting churches from all denominations to join us. The need for campaigning and lobbying on climate and nature will be explored during the afternoon and we’ll be thinking about how best to take action and build relationships with our elected representatives.
There will be speakers from Christian Aid, Eco Church and Climate Cymru, opportunities to lobby using letters, postcards and petitions, craft activities, stalls run by environmental organisations, a quiz and lots of tea and cake!
We would be very pleased if some of you could join us on the day.
